Jeanne White-Ginder Food Pantry
In honor of Jeanne White-Ginder, Ryan White’s mother, The Jeanne White-Ginder Food Pantry serves the needs of those living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses to help with food expenses in emergency situations. We are proud to honor Jeanne White-Ginder by naming the food pantry after her. Income requirements for the food pantry are based on 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. At least one member of the household must be diagnosed with a chronic illness. No other requirements other than a genuine need are mandatory. Currently, gift cards to local supermarkets are supplied to persons who qualify. Amounts given may vary from time to time. Although we try to meet the needs of every client, we cannot always guarantee availability as available funding determines this. Different Roads Home provides Housing Deposit Assistance through the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS grant, or HOPWA. This program is designed to meet the specific needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Those who qualify will be provided with the resources they need to prevent homelessness along with long-term strategies for residential success.
Our resource lab was designed specifically for those who do not have access to a computer or internet services. Whether if you are in need of employment or other healthcare services, the lab is here to help you.
